Debating on a salt or fresh pond. I know how big these guys get and requirements. They might be the reason I go freshy. Can they have tankmates? Rtc, tsn, rtcxtsn, aro's and black sharks... If not ill prob go salty

Going to be around 700-1,000 gal depending how deep I go(indoors) but my footprint will be around if not bigger then 98"x98" an estimate
Hmm I could add him last right? At a much smaller size then the others. And maybe buy from an mfk member here and they could tell me his personality?
I am currently waiting for a 24inch puffer to stabilize at my lfs before I put into my monster pond. it is being housed with other monster fishes ie aro/gar/ITs/birchir/stingrays. So far so good, its been 4days in that lfs tank. Was given feedback it was in a monster comm by the previous owner as well and cited as good temperament(24inch omg!).
you should try to get as much intel out of the seller to determine the character of the fish. however, i would under no circumstances have bought the puffer if it is in solitary confinement all this while. that would be too much of a gamble...
