Mbu with my p14s

Thinking of swapping my zaires out for a 13 inch mbu puffer that has never harmed Another fish. Very docile.

From those with experience only and not just what you think or have read....would you do it?

Do it! If it is still docile at 13in, it may likely remain. I know you know the potential risk so you'll need to watch. But if I were you, I'd do it. I've kept a docile mbu with rays before with no problem and I have seen it done several times.

you ask for people with experience you wont find many as its a crazy mad thing to even try with even a cheap ray let alone P14

just because its docile in someone Else's tank doesn't mean it will be the same in yours to bites and say good by to your rays eyes or tail

i wouldnt do it. risky especially with your p14s! an aro will be a lot safer!

I've never kept mbu with rays but I did with cats. They are very curious and will bite, maybe not at first but at some point. Good luck if you try it.

Should have just bought yours back off me. LOL It's been good with my rays for the last 2 years. I currently just switched it to my pup tank as the pikes were harassing it too much.

Been two years with a mbu 13"+ in my pup tank and never any concern on either end. The mbu will usually sleep on a ray or my frt depending which one is in the corner it likes.
