Looks like a "Saulosi" cichlid or a Saulosi mix.

Looks like a male Melanochromis johannii to me but I could easily be wrong. Africans aren't exactly my forte. But it reminds me of my ex-roomates old electric blue johannii.

Hard to tell. But for me it's not a saulosi. Mouth and head shape and the horizontal stripes do not match with saulosi.

The head looks like a Metriaclima/Maylandia. The pattern reminds me of Pseudotropheus interuptus.
I think it's a hybrid.

Quite possible knowing Africans. Allot of places sell em as "Assorted Africans" and almost always they are all hybrids of some kind. Granted I have seen some pure breeds come out of the same tanks but very rarely. What ever he is tho he is a nice looking fish atleast. Personally I wouldn't worry too much about what he is unless OP plans on breeding him at some point.
