Hmm I'm really not sure about the yellow one. It has some Victorian qualities but I can't place a species.
The blue one looks like a pale Cyno"white top hara" My avatar is my dominant male hara.

they are both males as far as i know,
and here are some clear pics
i really need to know the exact name
please.....

They remind me of a cynotilapia species, but that's about as far as I could go.

BTW, Mike's on vacation. LOL

I'm really not sure. Honestly they both look like could be hybrids. The blue one does look like it has a lot cynotilapia but doesn't have the vibrant colors of any specific species. The yellow one really just looks like a mutt.

I still say the blue one looks like a pale cynotilapia sp:white top hara. But the stripes go from the bottom instead of the top. So I'm not sure.

i got them along with others as assorted mbuna 7 months ago. they were 5~7 cm at that time. now they are 10~11 cm
some of them breeding now

yeah, that yellow one looks like a hybrid...its pretty, but definately a hybrid...and that blue one does look like a cyno.

the blue one could just be a less colorful one, not necessarily a hybrid.
