Nope
I am currently building a 250 gallon tank that will be all native fish, and I have quite a few mbuna and a couple haps I want to sell. I'm not really sure how much to ask though.
I have a Super vc-10 around 6" maybe a little bigger , a male venestus around 6" maybe a little bigger, and about 25 mbuna ranging from 1" to 5". The mbuna are all what I believe to be pure bred, red zebras, socolafi, white top afras, kenyi, a yellow lab, 2 bumblebee, 2 acei, and more. What should I ask for them?

Thanks.

It depends on your location but around here(NY) I would say that the venustus would go for $15 to $25 depending on color, The mbuna wouldn't be worth as much, maybe $5 a piece if you're lucky. They are beautiful fish, its just a lot of people have them and they are easy to breed.

I live in NE Ohio. I'm trying to keep the hobby as self sustaining as possible as far as how much i'm investing into the 250. I would love to make a huge mbuna tank, but the tank is in my basement, and in winter it gets about 65 F down there, and I really don't want to pay to heat that much water. Thanks for the reply.

Np, Wish I could help more. I think that $75 would be a good start. If nothing else you could see what any lfs would give you for them, granted it would be store credit but you could get some equipment or something. And I agree with the self sustaining part, It just doesn't always work out that way for me:(. You'll love the 250. I'll warn you though, once you get into the bigger tanks you can't go back to smaller ones again. I've got a 300 and it makes a 55 look like a goldfish bowl in comparison.
