What kind of camera do you use? The pics. are awesome...

nice looking fish and great pics! i have two but they both are blue with black bars. do you have any idea as to sexing these guys? i read some articles but it didnt really help. egg spots isnt always accurate nor is coloration so im wondering what sex i have.

Muske, its only a 6mega pixels point-and-shoot cannon "coolpix" nothing fancy :)

Disciple, usually the brightest color with big egg spot would be male. But it is very rare to find male OB, because all male are usually blue because that's the dominant gene, as most people breed blue male with OB females. But if you can find a male OB with female OB, there will be more chance the offsprings will have OB males. Hope i make sense :)

I have the Coolpix 10 and my stuff doesn't come close to that. If I take it with a flash I get some reflection back. With no flash, if they move I get a blur. How did you do that?

What settings did you use?

Fanatic, I usually put on sport mode if there's enough lights, that's what I did here. ISO 400 all auto :headbang2 Sometime I use normal "shooting" mode with the flash turned off. Patience mentality turned on too :D
