So I was thinking about removing all females from my tank after noticing my auratus is holding and that makes 2 fish that are holding in my tank now and the 2 males that did the knocking up lol are terrorizing everyone, too many fish to really seriously hurt any one but my question is will it calm the guys Down with no females.

If you don't have the proper ratio of males to females there will always be fighting. IMO removing your few females will definitely help lower aggression.

Yea I have a lot of different type of mbuna and was planning on having all male but got attached and found out later some were female.

Depends how many you have. I have never had any issues before. Some mbuna are more aggressive than others. If you only have 2 males, which i assume since you say 2 males did the deed, then no i wouldnt separate any. If you isolate the 2 males you will likely lose one to being killed by the other. I wouldnt separate any but the holding females if you are interested in saving the fry, if you arent interested in saving the fry just leave them all be. The more fish in there to spread aggression over the better. Im also used to dealing with wild caught stock and ive had males kill off the whole tank before so it just depends on the fish really. Sometimes ill isolate the aggressor.

If nobody is getting hurt and they're just chasing around then I don't see a problem, although a problem may arise in the future. With Africans you need a 1 male to 3 females ratio and for some species even more. It all depends on how many fish u have in the tank, how big is the tank, what species...

they will start breeding wild fire just leave them be. if you take the females out then your males wont show there true colors, as long as you have enough fish in the tank the aggression should be equally dispersed.

IMO I don't think that's true, otherwise nobody would do all male tanks.

I have about 5 or 6 for sure females with a total of 16-17 fish and 4 fry. The chasing is not that bad they have calm down now that the females are holding, I just wanted opinions on all male cuz wen there in breeding mode they go nuts.

I have more than 2 male its jus that the 2 that were mating turned it up a notche and they were my auratus and blue zebra. The zebra is on his 3rd set of fry by 2 different fish lol the auratus pair on there first batch might keep em since there pure and not hybrids like the others
