Mbunas and plants.

I would give Cryptocoryne aponogetifolia a try.

My mbuna eat everything. Many have success with java fern and anubias.

I have found that mbuna, are pretty good at keeping algae, well manicured. Like on a piece of coral.

I've never had luck with much other than Anubias in my Mbuna tanks. Treid Java and they eat that, Anubia is okay but better than Java.
