McRib Sandwich from McDonald's

2 questions:

1. so they brought back the mcrib temporarily, is it just me? or does the mcrib taste just like am pm's bbq rib sandwich? also, those microwavable bbq rib meals from the market tastes just like it too? what's the big deal with the mcrib? just the brand slapped on it?

2. my kids love micky D's, I know it's bad on a regular basis but they get chicken nuggets, fries and soda anywhere from 1 to 2 times a month. is that ok?
 
1. I had never had one before, so I had to try it when they brought it back. It was gross. Tasted like ground pork with ketchup. There is nothing rib about it.

2. I'd say 1-2x a month is nothing to worry about. Once a week, that's a bit much IMO. That could lead to some bad habits down the road. When I have kids, I will try to do what I can so that they never taste fast food or soda their entire childhood haha!

Child abuse is feeding them that crap on a regular basis because the parents are too lazy too cook!
 
1) I try to have them once every few years. They have been serving it here since the 80's (around Christmas)... Love'em

2) That's ok... Shame the food isn't healthy or I'd eat there every few days. Instead of about 12 times a year

good luck with that, i said the same thing before i had kids. a lot of times you will find that fast food is a must if you both work. it's fast and convenient. but like you said, as a parent you MUST make it a priority to limit fast food the way i do

but yea i don't stock soda in my house. it's a treat that's rare. my kids get water, apple juice diluted with water and milk

in case you werent' trolling, and i can see how you may have misunderstood, I meant they get apple juice diluted with water and at different times they get milk seperately. lol, not a ghetto fabulous mixture of apple juice, water and milk in one beverage
