I got 2 marbled gobies (Oxyeleotris marmorata) today. They are only 2" in lenght but already take market prawn. As a matter of fact, this was one of the reasons I boght them - the guy at LFS actually fed them by hand. I did this too, and each grabbed and swallowed a piece no more than an hour out of the bag! The only odd thing is that I thought these were very gluttonous fish and could eat a tone. To my surprise I could not coax them into taking more than a single piece each. Oh well, they'll probably do better tomorrow , once settled in and all... Anyone knows how fast they can grow under ideal conditions?
