last year my dad lost his 10 super large koi's and 2 cat fish approx 15 years old due to a massive heat wave...i decided to take the pond in my hands and help him re-bulid it..deeper and wider with more shade larger filter system...with a side river flow and a simple waterfall.....ill post more once the sun comes out again..

hi guys sorry for the late pics..weather has been on n off with the rain..had to wake up to get some good pics in the am..but here is build..started 2nd week of April and Finished it in a week and 3 days..we ran the UV and stayed clear ever since..had some leaks from the side flow but it was taken care of..=)..enjoy

these three pics below is the side flow which wraps around a tree with red leaves, not sure of the name of the tree but it compliments the look of the pond




this is the filtration system and 4foot UV pipe..i know what your thinking..its a pool filter =O..well we replaced our pool filter and used the old one to run the pond..basically its stocked with lava rocks on the bottom and dollar store sponges in the middle (25packs x6) at the top is a basic sponge as an extra incentive...its an easy clean up and very excellent in keeping the pond flowing clear..i would highly recommend if you ever come across one...=)

stocked with 9/5-6in koi..4/5in butterfly koi..2 cats..and some goldies...oh and one crayfish..=)
