meal worms

are meal worms ok for feeding rays? also am feeding earth worms out of garden. i rinse off all dirt on outside, but insides are still full. makes mess in the tank, lfs do not sell earth worms, should i keep some in adifferent medium like wood chips?

I feed my rays earth worms to, just found a bait shop that sells 500 for 83$ cnd. I have also wondered about all the dirt still left inside the worms, but my rays dont seem to mind

the dirt never really concerned me.... you dont use any kind of fertilizers or pesticides do you? i could see that being a problem....

no pesticides or ferts. other than dog poo and lots of other organics. just thought it made more mess in the tank is all. just my imagination maybe?
