So in the last 6 months or so I've been feeding my leos alot of superworms ever since I got my tegu really. I find them a bit easier to feed the leos because of thier size and because they squirm alot more. i was wondering if it would be alright to switch my mealoworm colony to a superworm colony? Meaning can I replace mealworms for superworms as a staple for my leos? I would still feed mealworms just not as much. Also I only have 2 leos so I have all these mealworms that really aren't being eatin.

I believe the shell is a bit harder on the superworms but I don't see the leos having problems digesting them. The only thing I get concerned with superworms is they have the chompers and can bite your leo if you are not careful. I know one bit one of my leos and ever since then it wouldn't eat superworms.

I always feed supers by tongs so im there to supervise. Thanks for the comments guys.
