may be a dumb question but do mealworms sink or float? thinking of giving a treat to my bichirs

I find that mine float. If you are feeding them to your fish you can also gutload them before you feed. I usually leave a piece of apple or orange and some pellets in with the worms for a few days then feed them to my fish.

some float, but I find that most of mine sink. The cray loves them, my syno loves them, and my oscars devour them. If they do float, you can rustle them around a bit in the water, and then they will sink.

Forgot to add that mine float because after I gutload them I freeze them!!! Makes for better storage and delivery IMO.

well just got some this morning & fed them to the fish-a big hit with the bichirs thats certain. My leopard perch looks like its pregnant too. I think this'll be a weekly treat for them all
