Mealworms?

Are these safe for Tigers? The shelled type you see at LFS/Herp shops?
My Tigers range from 4"-11". Are they worth adding to the diet?
If people feed them; how often a week?

i use to feed meal worms to my arowana, rule of thumb is u cant feed mealworms to any fish smaller than 5" b/c small fish cant digest the hard shell.

never found any of my tigers to really like them mate. aro's love them but my tigers just seem to watch them sink and then leave them

mine has fazes of eating them

never had any problems

but my 20 inch bad boy will eat anything

Wouldn't hurt to try to see if they like it.

can they be 'deshelled' by hand as it were or is this impractical to do?
