just wandering what has been ur meanest fish that u could not put in any of ur tanks without removing him or tankmates and what did u do? get rid of the mean fish or get rid of the tankmates and keep the meeny.

I have a couple of smaller FW puffers that will kill anything that gets near them. They live alone. The T miurus & A modestus. Well, the modestus seems to tolerate his much larger, 6" Royal pleco now, that cleans up after him but when I 1st put him in a 40g, he killed off all my Amazon & dwarf puffers & a few other fish. He was only 2".

My jar was in solitary for many months after killing various ciclids, and parrot fish. Clown knife went rounds with him prior to it getting moved to the tank where it murdered everything. Finally after spilling 2 beers on my floor by smashing into the lids whenever something got near it I decided it was enough.......it was kill or be killed.....I threw the TSN CK and jar together in a rubbermaid vat.......no one died and they coincide with eachother. The Jar does not enjoy it though.....as I picked it up off the floor 3 days ago...luckily it's fine but it knocked the cover off which had a rock on it.
