the tank ive got thats free measures 30 in. long 12.5 in. wide and 17.5 inside tall 29 gallon. is that suitable for a nano reef? or is it not wide enough... also is a ten gallon tank turned into a sump/refugum good? or should i go bigger. thanks in advance for the help.

i am going to be going slow with this so as to get it absolutely right the first time, so i hope to have the tank cycling by christmas.
