how do you measure your fish?

im pretty patient with the tape measure waiting for a fish to swim up to the glass but its quite hard because my midas hates it so much so i have to be quick. the bichirs are easy though they swim right up to the glass and they seem study the tape measure.

not a big fan of stressing a fish out by removing it from the tank just to measure it but each to their own.

run a tape measure along the front and as the fish swims by snap a pic

patience... though if I need a measurement asap.. ect I'de take 'em out and drop a ruler in the bucket ect ect...

alot of people on here like to stress there fish out for a measurement. i would rather just wait
