meat for FH

ive seen videos of people feeding raw chicken and hotdogs to thier flower horns.
is it a good idea to feed them raw chicken or any other meat?
if it is ok, what meats are safe to feed FH's?

do use shrimp already?
i use beef heart. go to ur local butcher and u can say how much u want and they will cut it up for u to what size u want. i get them to do me inch cubes. not that im lazy lol

I personally would not feed hotdogs just because they are kind of a mystery meat and chicken may be too hard for them to break down. Shrimp are the best way to go and they will help color up your fish as well

Some people would say it's not good for them...especially the Hot Dog.

ill try the beefheart, ive allredy tried the shrimp.

Did you try cooked or raw shrimp? All of my fish enjoy cut raw shell-on shrimp (shell removed). Very few of my fish find the spices used in cooked shrimp appealing.

none of my fish are fans of raw shrimp either.

i meant live shrimp lol.
brine shrimp...i think thats what they are, iv just got so used to going to the shop and asking for shrimp.

It took a couple of trys for my fish to get use to shrimp but once they did and they saw the shrimp cup they would go nuts.
