I currently have my senegals in a 55 with some SA/CA cichlids and silver dollars. It appears that one of my SD's may have septicemia. Is it safe to treat the whole tank with the JungleLabs Fungus clear? I would take him out but my QT tank is currently housing my bichirs waiting to be put in the new tank (100g). None of the fish are showing any distress, but I'm concerned about losing my SD's and not sure how the Bichirs would handle the meds.

If it is Septicemia its a usually a bacterial infection and you'll need antibiotics not fungus cure-Anne

The back of the Fungus clear package lists septicemia as being something it treats. Is it possible that it treats fungus AND bacteria? My biggest concern is whether or not a full strength dose is dangerous to my senegals.
