I have a fish with popeye, been medicating it for around a week, but sooner or later I may go on vacation. If the popeye isn’t gone in time, but I have an open week I can use to go on vacation, is there any possible way to medicate popeye during a week of vacation?

You really expect to unexpectedly go on vacation in the next few weeks?

Medication typically lasts for a period of time, which you can tell if the manufacturer tells you to redose. For popeye, dose around 1 teaspoon of epsom salt per 5 gallons. This will help to reduce swelling. I would then choose a gram negative medication to treat internal infections that doesn't require redosing within a week, like Maracyn-2 (minocycline).
