I'm currently treating my tank with Furan-2, which contains the following active ingredients: nitrofurzone, furazolidone, and methylene blue trihydrate.

I took most of it out today with 80% water change and added carbon.

I just received this new FRT today and I'm currently holding him in a small plastic container until the medication clears out completely. However, I don't know how long it'll last in there. So I'm wondering if it's actually safe to add the FRT in the tank now?

I should also mention that I'm treating furunculosis (aeromonas) on one of my fishes, would that infect the FRT?

The medication also killed most of my beneficial bacterias and I'm sure my tank water isn't in tip top condition, but I figured a turtle breath air, so it shouldn't be a problem that the water isn't perfect.... right?
