My tank has a couple fish with septicemia... There is currently a waning salt concentration for a prior ick treatment, which went well. A recent addition is a bamboo shrimp, who seems to be doing fine and all...but the fish w/ the septicemia (one of them a relapse from not being totally gone I think)--a julie catfish and a giant danio...I have some jungle fungus tablets which seemed to help the disease before, but I've read that bamboo shrimp are not tolerant of medications. I've also read that one should avoid medications with copper. Copper seems universal, but I'm wondering just what sort of medications I can put in there? The jungle fungus clear has nitrofurazone, furazolidone and potassium dichromate.
