medications for fly river turtles

hello im new to turtles and my friend has one hes parting with that he doesnt have time for it has a infection around its eye im trying to treat and need advice. can fly river turtles tolerate salt or melafix and primafix also what else could i do besides keeping the water clean and maby upping temperature need advice asap will post photos up soon

Get acriflavine follow directions and add salt the water should be like 80 and remove carbon from filter frt are pro ne to fungus and need clean water lots of water changes and remove excess food cuz they real messy but they are an awesome pet

I have found that using UV sterilizers and protein skimmers with FRTs reduces your work dramatically.

sadly the first turtle i took to the vets passed away from a bacterial infection which covered one side of his face and eye,that was a friends turtle which was left too late for treatment . Luckily for me i was able to track down another one which will get the best care from the start
