2 Days ago I lost my NGT and I wasn't sure what cause it. This morning when I woke up, I saw a NTT laying on the surface upside-down. Basically I lost 2 beautiful fishes in less than 3 days...

I don't exactly know what is causing this but I checked my water parameters and they were normal. I do not see any symptoms or anything like that and I can't afford to lose anymore of my fishes. From what I've read, Gill flukes and internal parasites are Datnoids worst enemy. Now if this was the cause of the sudden deaths, are these contagious? Would it be healthy to put medications in my even though I do not see any symptoms from other fishes? If so, what should I use and where can I purchase them?

Somebody please help me, I do not want to wake up in the morning and see a dead fish.:(

Thanks in advance.

From my experience unexplained deaths have been from internal bacteria. I recently had a case of mouth fungus (which is actually not a fungus but bacteria). I started losing fish one by one with no sign of a problem untill one day I saw white stuff around the mouth of one fish. I then treated with interpets mouth fungus treatment and all the problems stopped. Have a very close look around the mouths of all the fish, also for any fin damage.

It is a tough one on what to do, having no symptoms can make it hard to make a diagnosis and thus using the right treatment.
If it was me I would treat the tank with an antibacterial med, as two fish have gone I would see it as a lesser risk that just waiting and seeing what happens.
