Heres what i have so far
Waterlife (from thier website)

CUPRAZIN (Protozoacide/Fungicide) (Details)
For the treatment of Whitespot, Costia and other Fungal infections in seawater aquaria only. Do not use in aquaria containing invertebrates, macro
algae, Sharks, Rays, or Harlequin Tuskfish.

MYXAZIN (bactericide) (Details)
A treatment for Ulcers, Fin-Rot, Body Rot and other bacterial related diseases in all aquaria.

OCTOZIN (Flagellated Protozoa) (Details)
For the treatment of "Hole-in the-Head", Spironucleus, Dropsy, Malawi Bloat, Sleeping Sickness and Whitespot in all aquaria.

PARAGON (General Tonic) (Details)
For use in seawater, freshwater and coldwater aquaria. The product slowly releases oxygen in safe amounts destroying any pathogens and parasites
present and beneficially raises the REDOX level in the systems, improves inhabitants health and the filtration efficiency.

PARAZIN (Parasiticide) (Details)
Fish lice (Argulus), anchor worm (Lernea), gill maggots (Ergasilus) are just some of the horrific parasites/predators, which can attack fish and
are almost invisible to the naked eye. New Parazin destroys these and other insect and crustacean parasites/predators found in aquaria.

PROTOZIN (Protozoacide/Fungicide) (Details)
For the treatment of Whitespot, Fungus, Velvet and Costia in tropical freshwater and coldwater aquaria only. Do not use when mormyrids (i.e.
Elephant Nose, Dolphin Fish), Sturgeon and Sterlets are present.

STERAZIN (parasiticide) (Details)
For the treatment of Gill and Body Flukes. Do not use when crustaceans (i.e. Crabs, Shrimps), echinoderms (i.e. Sea Urchins, Starfish), s/w
Sharks, Rays, Piranha, Sturgeon and Sterlets are present.

Interpet (don't ask)

Interpet Aquarium Anti Internal Bacteria
Internal systemic bacterial infections (Pseudomonas, Aeromonas and Vibrio species) are a common cause of death in aquarium fishes.
The symptoms can range from no obvious external signs to very severe and obvious symptoms. Internal systemic infections have previously only been
treatable with veterinary prescribed antibiotics.
Anti Internal Bacteria is a breakthrough product which effectively halts the progress of internal bacterial progress in many cases.
Anti Internal Bacteria is a two-dose course of treatment which is added directly to the aquarium. It is important to catch these internal
bacterial infections as early as possible to increase the chances of a cure.

Interpet Aquarium Anti Fungus and Finrot
Finrot (Mycobacteria species), mouth rot and mouth fungus (Flexibacter species) and cotton wool disease (Saprolgenia) are common diseases of fish.
Anti Fungus and Finrot must be used as soon as diagnosis has been made to prevent the disease from spreading and the eventual death of the fish.
Anti Fungus and Finrot is a single dose treatment which is added directly to the aquarium to quickly and effectively control disease bacteria on
and off the fish. The treatment remains active for a few days, preventing further outbreaks.

Interpet Aquarium Anti Slime and Velvet
Fish often carry a small risk of skin and gill parasites. When fish are stressed, this population will rapidly increase, endangering the fishes'
lives. Anti Slime and Velvet will eradicate velvet (Oodinium and Amlyoodinium), flukes (Dactylogyrus and Gyrodactylus) and protozoan parasites
including Chilodonella, Ichthyobodo (Costia), Trichodina and Brooklynella.
Anti Slime and Velvet has been formulated for use in both marine and freshwater aquariums. A single dose remains active in the aquarium long
enough to cure the disease episode. Most parasite outbreaks are cured more quickly at higher temperatures - we recommend a temperature of
27?C/80?F for the duration of the treatment.

prolly will be when its more complete

Hello Beblondie,

your thread is here where the polypterids are ... so i can talk about a medication especially used for polypterids here in Germany ...

FLUBENAZOL

mostly available as FLUBENOL 5% or FLUBENOL 10% - it seems weird but normally this medication is used to combat worm diseases (as tapeworms) in piggeries!
Flubenazol is very common to combat Macrogyrodactylus polypterii here in Germany. The most bichirs that came from Africa to Germany are infested with this parasite. The treatment with Praziquantel hasn't that 100% garantee that the parasite is eliminated - after months there were found new parasites!
Praziquantel paralyzes Macrogyrodactylus - Flubenazol kills the parasite by inner starving (enzyme blockade). My dealer had treated his new bichirs with Praziquantel in former times during quarantine, up to the point he had a new breakout after two months without socialisation with new tankmates. After treating them with Flubenazol the problem had gone - without loosing any fish.
Macrogyrodactylus polypterii and secondary bacteriosis are the most common cause of death of polypterids in Germany (except escape out of the tank). The most individuals arriving in Germany are full of this deadly parasite. How is the situation in the US? I've read not as much about Macrogyrodactylus in this forum as in german forums ... seems to be another situation of a "first quarantine" from station one in Africa.
Sometimes i think the situation isn't the same - the bichirs arriving the US and Japan seem to be in a better condition and in the case of P.lapradei these nations get more vivid coloured individuals. Okay, one have to pay more in the US or Japan but - it's better to pay more to get healthy and beautiful fish than to pay less money to get doomed fish ... i'm not the only one in Germany who registrated this case.
Back to Flubenazol - it's possible that the use of Flubenazol is forbidden in the US. It was forbidden in Germany not long ago but European right belonging to agriculture neglected this prohibition. Good luck for all bichir keepers in Germany.
I was astonished when i heard about the fact, that Frank Schaefer did not know much of Macrogyrodactylus polypterii he saw hundreds of bichirs in the wide rooms of Aquarium Glaser, a very important fish dealer worldwide. So i think these bichirs were treated against the parasite in Africa ("first quarantine"). Unfortunately the most fish are exported by Glaser in the rest of the world - except Germany. This isn't good luck for bichir keepers in Germany ...

Greetings

Uwe

thank you

OK do any of these contain FLUBENOL 5% or FLUBENOL 10% ?

I am assuming that Prazi pro contains Praziquantel do any of the others?
