i wanna make my medicines it might sound strange and few ll say " why don't u just buy them " ...

well here in my country there is no so common fish medicines just few ones and made here too ..

so as they already made here i wanna make mine too

from the

blue metheline

green malachite

formalin

and that stuff ..

so any help ?!

i just need the percentage or weight of each on let us for 1 Liter

i need those medicines for the most common fish diseases

Lupin is very sharp on medicines.. he may be able to help.. i will let him know...good luck to you... this is a very interesting subject but also requires the correct dosage and compatibility of meds etc..

I'm not comfortable with this particular topic. Honestly, I've never combined any of these meds at all just for the sake of creating your own med box. I buy them as they are as much as possible when I know they are very much needed. Combining meds is risky business and could create more potent chemical reactions. You can't expect the combo of those commonly available meds to work most of the time without ending up killing your fish as well.

What meds do you have access to?

I'd look for the following (but you won't need everything all at once anyway).

Malachite green
Formalin
Methylene Blue
Sodium chloride
Metronidazole
Praziquantel
Kanamycin/tetracycline/nitrofurazone
Epsom salt
Levamisole hydrochloride/flubendazole/fenbendazole

i didn't meant to put them all together to make a med for all diseases no way

what i mean is

now u as mentioned i ll buy all this stuff keep them each alone

now i want to make a med for ich

for example i ll get xx ml of Methylene Blue plus xx drops of Formalin on xx L and then treat with them by using xx drops for each xx Gallon

and for parasites i ll get xx ml of Y plus xx ml of Y and use xx drops for each xx Gallon

and so ... for each common disease i ll make the essential dose for it ..

What do u think it is just that i don't trust the med sold here ..

wow this would be really neat if you could make your own meds, the only problem i would see is that you would prolly need test fish to see if they worked

yeah ... i think that is easy .. i noticed that when u caught a wild fish and keep it in a tank 80 % there is a chance to get ich already ... so here is the diseases ready

as i usually go fishing bolty cichlid fish and i noticed that on them and the more faster in getting ill than the bolty is the jewel cichlid ( as we have jewel cichlid in our river )
