Medium sized catfish.

I've been quite interested in catfishes recently and really liked how the RTC and TSN looks like. I actually bought a TSN from an LFS without knowing how large it will grow to (thinking about 1-2 foot.. lol ). Luckily he was missing one eye so I am actually able to return it and obtain a refund.

Okay, I was wondering, are there any catfishes that are medium sized, roughly a foot or 2 max and looks similar to the RTC and available in KL, Malaysia?

Tigrinus catfish is a lot like the TSN but maxes at 2 foot (from what I know), but I'm not sure if it's available where you are...

try an get a pseudopimelous bufonius. i love mine. he is a beast too. all the attitude of a rtc but stays under a foot. watch out though, it will try to eat anything it can fit in its mouth- even somethings you would not think it could fit.

Or you could go brackish and get a few columbian sharks..

BTW how big of a tank do you have?.

That's called stunting the growth of a fish and it's very very wrong...

lols just kiddin bout that.. i got a spotted shovelnose catfish.. couldnt really find much info on the net.. but i read that it grows to about 18 inches somewhere and that its the smallest shovelnose?
