I have an outbreak of small red anchorworm type worms.

VERY similar to the worms in this thread- > http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123656&highlight=anchor+worms

It says to treat like anchor worms but I'm having trouble finding a rec. cure.

Are the meds the same for F.W. anchor worms and S.W. anchor worms?

Tank has allready undergone the beginning of Cupremine treatment as well as hypo for an ich outbreak. Will this cure the worm problem as well? If not what would work and is it safe to use with the current med.

THANK YOU for ANY assistance.

Salt water anchor worms respond to treatment (as do FW ones) by using a med called Dimilin. One source is www.watergarden.org
Or yo can use a daily dip bath for 10-30 minutes in a potassium permanganate solution of 10mg./liter for 3-5 days.
