Meeki pair back together again..

These two have been very unsuccessful in raising any fry countless spawns, free swimmers then they disappear due to tankmates. The male beat the female so I separated them. After 6 months after I add her back and they instantly paired again. No aggression. Now in the 150g causing trouble lol. In the FTS you can see the area they claimed. I’ll say I have never seen a stronger bond in a cichlid pair. Even with other monogamous species..

Pics of the current 150g stock. Growing 4 more robertsoni out and will add when 2.5-3”. Have a pair that haven’t spawned and the male has been rough on the female. Hoping adding more will diffuse the aggression.
The algae is coming in nicely. The tank gets direct light in the mornings this time of year.
