Despite what I told Owens Owens in a prior thread, I ended up with another standard poodle. This time in black.

Poodles look like living Pom-poms lololol A lot more aggressive than you'd expect from the way they look too
These two are completely chill. Within an hour of having him he layed down and took a nap while I watched a movie.

Does he watch TV too? I remember last year I had one of my males here sitting w/ me while I watched TWD and he was watching TV too and on-screen, people were walking from left to right, and when they walked off-screen , the dog followed them and was standing there looking confused like "Where did they go?.....I just saw them walking....they disappeared"

He just doesn't understand whata TV is

He slept through the movie but seemed interested whe the stingray ate his meal.

Nice man. I assume this was your families idea?

I had no say. Otherwise my dad and I would have ended up with the German shepherd instead but that idea was vetoed by my mom.

Oh well it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. :):p

Well we got some news today.

Barney isn't really Barney, he's champ. Champ was given away by his first owners to a new family, who he apparently got away from and became a stray for a few weeks but was being feed by a nice family who owned the shed he was sleeping in on their farm. The second family was told by someone that he had been hit by a car and the second family didn't bother looking. Fast forward to this past Friday, Champ was caught by our humane society and cleaned up and listed later that day. We went and adopted him on Saturday. The hummane society told us that the first owners have the phone number used by the second family but the line was disconnected. Fast forward to today, My mom was called by the hummane society saying they found his second owners. They told us we legally can't give him back and if we wish to send him back we must go through all the hassle of the surrender process and pay the fees to surrender him even though we paid to take him home. The hummane society told us that since the original owners were way past their seven day grace period they can't legally ask for him back because he's no longer their property.

Anyhow, there's a German Shepard litter at another shelter that me and my dad are going to go check out this weekend.
