As some of you know, my close friend and MFK member known here as VMike passed away a few weeks ago. His wife Margaret supported Mike's passion with cichlids 100 percent but does have the time or knowledge to continue what Mike has left behind. She requested for me to adopt all of Mike's cichlids and take care of them.
About two years ago, I gave Kamodo to Mike since he has big tanks and had two big female umbee's as well. Now, I have this big umbee back originally brought back by Chris Umbeeking and will take care if it until it passes away.
Don't let the smile and angelic freckled face fool you, this umbee is a beast and will not hesitate to bite and attack.
