I got a new jag the other day. I decided to name him Bison, I like that name . What should I feed him?

he's a little guy. feed him pellets and what not. if he is stubborn try some frozen foods like bloodworms, mysis shrimp or something.

cute jag. i feed mine flakes, bloodworms, and small krill pieces. he/she will eventually get into pellets when it is big enough.

He sometimes eats Omega One Cichlid pellets that sink to the bottom, but sometimes he spits them right out. What does that mean?

Well my thought was, he's going to be big, he's brown, and if anybody messes with him they get messed up! Ha, nobody is aloud near his slate cave, not even the 3x his size Green Terror. I like the name you mean guy, ewurm!

if he spits out food it means he don't like it. if you are adamant about him eating pellets, then starve him for a while. eventually he'll eat.

So I named my Rabbit " Puppy" and my ferret " Friday" and my cat " Kitty" and my other cat " Midnight" those are the only odd names we have now for our pets. Our dogs are normal Sam and Ria. Although my step moms dogs are named VeVe and Thorman. When he spits it out that means he may not like it but he might just not want to eat it because hes still adjusting. Give another week and he will start eating everything. Feed him Hikari gold mini pellet, Flakes, Krill, bloodworms, etc.
