I just picked this guy up today from a LFS in Toledo, Ohio. His name is lucky b/c not only was he not packaged the way I would have liked. he jumped on me as I was aclimating him. I wnet downstairs and looked in the bucket. The fish net I had on top was on the floor and no fish in the bucket. I started looking around thinking he couldn't have gotten far. Then I look and he's like 3 feet from the bucket. I threw him in the bucket really quick and he wasn't doing anything. No gill movement no fin movement. So I stuck my hand in the bucket and grabed him and started pulling him around the bucket to force water over his gills. Slowly he started comming out of it. I Had to speed the aclimation up b/c I now had a bunch of dog hair in the bucket with him that he had collected on the floor. So I ran downstairs to cut him a quick cave. came back up and put the cave in and put him in. As you can see he's over a foot and pretty thick. The guy had two others that were not as big but same price. And one other even smaller but did not have any real pattern to him just kinda looked like an off brown color.
So before I say how much I got him for would anyone like to guess?
