Both of my iguanas are adopted and they both have one medical problem or another. From paralysis to MBD in mild forms. I got them bothin 2003 and their conditions are now under control and under vet care :)

Meet Andy and Vernie! Christmas 2006

Thanks for adopting them! There is enough baby iggys to go around; not enough adults get the lovin'.

Hopefully the iggys won't take over your life, litterly.

No cages :) Free roamers... :D I have 3 UVB basking spots set up...LOL...

They rule my life. TO the point any guy I date has to love my lizards and my fish...LOL...

I love my guys. Vernie was almost dead when I got him. A starved paralysed hatchling that had broken arms, legs, toes and tail. Bad shape. Vet wanted to euthanise. I said give him 6 weeks. 6 weeks and major calcium and UVB doses and he was trying to regain some of his movement. This was Feb. 2003. 4 years later he is a happy and healthy 6 pounds and 4 feet 7 inches. Still quite small I know but... He has recovered with leaps and bounds.

that is just adorable...a lil early for xmas but adorbale non the less.
