lovely looking reds.
if your 180g is 72"x24"x24" then you have plenty room for them. I have 11 pygos (5"-6")in my 180g and they look just fine (for now).

sir i think they need more room because aggression to each other take place..last week they are 6 pcs now 5 of them left they kill the other one and i dunno what is the reason despite of killing their own mate.:(

btw sir what is the est set up for this little monsters?? im keeping them for weeks less than 2 weeks i think..i wanna set up their tank..and i think these fishes are crazy coz i bought it from their original owner the owner was too happy coz he dispose these monsters easily..now i think the original owner of this monsters make them too much aggressive coz they wreck the 1st OHF i used on their tank

I don't think you can make these fish more aggressive, if that works I'm sure many people would like to know how do you make them more aggressive (other than increase water temperature, or you can reduce aggression by lower water temperature).
in terms of setting up the tank, it depends on what kind of look you like, you can have it planted a little with some driftwood (see my tank pics as reference) or you can have it bare just like how you have it in your pictures. the one that got killed is probably due to them setting up packing order in the new tank and one wasn't lucky enough and got killed, that's normal with pygocentrus, any weak member of the group can become the next meal.

I know of a few ways to make your little monsters more aggressive but I dont recommend it because they may attack each other more. First off you can add more P's to your tank but you may want to add more cover and places for them to feel comfortable at. Lowering the temperature will make them at little less active(sometimes) and keeping the lights on will sometimes discourage death(a lot of fish die in the dark) :nilly:

But doing that will add a lot of stress to your P's, I wouldn't keep something like that up for more then 12-18hrs. A lot of RBP owners I know will cut back feeding to almost a week apart and that will raise aggression along with feeding them a lot of live fish. I don't recommend people doing this but I'm not one of those people that tells other fish owners how to take care of there own, this is all just my opinion.
