Just picked him up a week or two ago. A lot more active then any of my other serra species. One of the two piranha species that I have been looking for and finally got, now all I need is a brandtii to complete my collection.

I call him Ramirez.

couple months. found someone about a 2 hours away and picked him up, he met me half way so it didn't take that long to get him.


right now he is in a 75g once he grows a bit more ill give him a 125 to himself.

hes a lot more active then my other p's so far. may just be nervous energy but seems to be always active.

He's tank is going to be completely redone, in the next couple weeks. Just picked up some coralife lights 260 total watts. That nasty yellow lighting will find its way to the trash. Trying to get some co2, and most plants will be taken out and replaced with wall to wall carpet (plus a few extras).
