i was at one my lfs today and saw one. it was about 4-6" for $12. im wondering how big these guys get? could one live in a 125, 72x18 foot print, for a few years? what kind of food do they eat, are they aggressive? he would be in with cichlids and polys, thanks

I think they get like 24" from what i've read they have quite a slow growth rate so you could probably get a good 18 months out of a 72x18.

they are not aggresive and should be fine in your setup.

They have a very slow gorwth rate, thats an excellent price for its size.

The one I have is about 15 inches and just sits like a lump most of the time. When food hits the bottom he starts moving. Likes chunks of fish and shrimp.
