How do these guys do in oddball aggressive community tanks?

Are they armored enough to keep angry cichlids away?

they are more than armored enough for cichlids.


I dont have any problems right now. mine hides a lot except at feeding time. they get big so anything that can fit in their mouths might be at risk

i kept one with 5 black belt cichlids and a channa, he was fine, very very nice fish!!!
