I was browsing old dat threads and a guy was talking about stability and how he adds melafix in his tank and his thinbar is stable for 8-10 hours...well I tried this and my thinbar stabled up brighter then he ever has in about 20 minutes.. Im pretty sure adding melafix every 12 hours cant be good for your fish but I thought I would try it once..interesting..anybody else try this? I thought it was strange that in the thread he said how to stable up a thinbar...and it worked on my thinbar but my other dats didnt change..seems like a weird coincidence but who knows?

Thats rubbish, who posted that...lol..:)
Joking aside....it Never worked for me, so I wouldn't use it unless it's for medicinal purpose.

that was me who posted that :D

it does work but not for long 2 days max then the thin bar will turn unstable again

like i said who knows what stable means it may mean unhappy

I've always used this as a preventative. Not always but every now and then. I've never treated any sick fish with it however have noticed that for some reason my fish were happier when it was in the water, and when fish are happy the colors are more pronounced then when they are stressed. Maybe it has something to do with the natural ingredients it has???

I thought I was the only one who noticed that...haha

I'm probably just crazy like you....hahaha

wow interesting find - i just picked up 4 thinbars today so might give it a try once they have settled in - just the once though as it cant be god for the fish not to mention the cost implications!
