Melafix or Aquarium Salt

Which is better for repairing nipped and damaged fins.

both are good, melafix makes the process a bit quicker but can take a lot of oxygen out of the water and be overdosed relatively easily

Does either one stress the fish out more.

as long as you don't overdose I wouldn't think so, as melafix is made with aloe and is mostly natural

Go for salt. Melafix is just well advertised. All bark, no bite.

Salt always came through for me, recently I got a beat up fish and used metafix for the first time. im not sure that it is working my fish looks like it will die soon, Im going to switch it over to salt hopefully fish recovers
