Melafix Question

Does anyone know if melafix is harmful to fish fry, like molly and platy fry?
Just checking before I use it.

I have a new molly with a tear in his tail but the female I bought with him just had 5 fry in the same tank and I heard melafix is good for healing fins. Do you think I should skip the med. and let it heal naturally? I never encountered this problem before and never used melafix either.

Keep the water clean and it will heal itself in a few days. Nothing to worry about, skip the meds.
