Melafix - Red Sev dashing on rocks on 6th day...

I added tetras a week or so ago, and I am usually good about noticing, but I got these guys back to my tank and their fins were on the tattered side.
Erring on the side of caution, I treated with Melafix as it has worked for me in the past. I keep it "on call"

Now on the 6th day, my Red Severum seems to be dashing on the stones and plants in my tank (like ich fish do)...but he is very friendly and comes up to my face, so upon inspection, he has no ich, tattered fins, or the likes.

I plan on changing the water tomorrow, but has anyone experienced this?
Tons of bubbles collect at the surface from my airstone, but this is normal IME with melafix treatments.

Maybe it's annoying him somehow?

I'd look into adding medication if you're able to identify any disease other than the ragged fins.

Can't identify anything else.
I have done Melafix in the past with no issues. It works.
No patches, ich, spots, red marks, etc.
