is it safe to add melafix with clown loaches , my super red sev has a lil eye cloud and this is the only non monster tank i have , my oscars in my qt tank
thanks for the advice though the eye problem was caused by a fight between sevs , water is perfect . Your cloudy eye problem is likely a water quality issue, I would start doing more frequent water changes and just try to keep it as clean as possible, maybe with a pinch of salt.
If you really want to use melafix, I'd recommend a bath daily. Just fill an appropriate sized plastic bag with water, add a decent dose of melafix, and put the fish in for a few minutes, then return to the tank. But I'd recommend a salt or methylene blue bath before melafix.
