Melafix is a good medicine against bacterial or fungal infections. Not really for growths (unless it's fungal) or external parasites. I'm not sure what kind of wart you're talking about.

I use it on my Piranhas for any open wounds. It dose a great job accept on a Piraya that was missing about a 1/3rd of its abdomen. RIP The only downfall is it makes my whole house smell like Bengay.

it just looks like a wart on the bottom of the jaw...ooo How long and how much should I medicate? I have a buttikoferi im treating too with fin rot. I haven't even had the guy for 24 hours and the buttikoferi is already needing meds... ow well hes doing better the red is fading out of his tail.

remove carbon
double the recommended dose
treat for 5-7 days

Read the label on the bottle, specifically "Directions for use"

it doesn't say, I checked i was like...ummm ooo k it doesn't say how long to keep the meds up but it unless i overlooked it
