going to use it on an angel fish but never used the product before

dont see any warning about half doses on scaleless fish ect. but i want to make sure there isnt anything i should know about this before I use it.

side effects, if you shouldnt use with certain fish, ect.

thank you for any info you can give

Melafix is fairly harmless, and is really only good for wounds and prevention of infection. Pond Melafix is more concentrated for the same price BTW.

i like to use pimafix and melafix together.....

thanks for the tip....

u say its good for preventing infection, do you mean to be safe when you add new fish strictly, or can you use it on a regular basis no matter if new fish are added or not?

Yes, if your fish is showing signs of a scrape or fin rot, melafix is good.

Ive used it on my angels it worked and the angels were fine no side effects that I could discern.btw angels arent scaleless

i know angels have scales but some of my other fish in the tank don't, that is why I was asking.

I appreciate all the info guys, I put some in and hope it helps. If there is anything bad about it please let me know, just so I can be prepared.

Thanks

I love the peppery smell that hangs on in the air with Melafix..actually gives a civilized smell to the fish room..
