Melanchromis Auratus eggs!

My female auratus is holding eggs in her mouth!!! should i move her to anthr tank? sm advice plz! oh she is in a mbuna community tank!

Do you know how long she's been holding? If you want to keep the babies then I would either remove her after about 3 weeks of holding or strip the babies from her. If you don't want the babies then just let her stay in the tank, some might survive but most will be eaten by tankmates.

Congrats on the babies though! When I had my first mbuna holding I remove her then striped the babies and raised them. It was fun but a lot of work. Since then the fish have had so many babies that I actually have some catfish in the tank for fry control lol. Mbuna love to reproduce!

i saw them doin the whole dance thingy...while i wz out they hv done it so its been 8 hours since the spawning!!! i wanna rais them bro!! im alrdy raisin kenyi fries!!! aftr 20 days frm now ill move her to a new tank !! wt u think? thanx for the reply bro! i like to breed them!!! gonna try peacoks giraffe haps too lol
