thanks it was a flexible rod you should've seen the bend. I didn't know if it was a Bass, Catfish, or Carp but I got it 10 feet away and it started rolling and slappng the surface. Then we realized it was a BIG Bullhead. I couldn't unhook him right away, he was thrashing too much and I didn't want to get stung by the venomous spines, bitten (they have teeth when they're big) or squeeze him too hard ( He'll either throw up whatever he ate or throw hs stomach from his vent) so I put it back in h water for 10 sec to tire him out. I rarely do this but it was for both our safety. They we were being swarmed by wasps cuz of the Silversides and they went for the Catfish so I just had my dad hand me the De-Hooker and I shook the tning. He popped right off and was gone. Great fighter.
