Melanochromis auratus

Everyone says that an ideal diet for Melanochromis auratus is a a mixture of fruits and veggies, but can anyone be specific on exactly what i should be throwing in my tank (Also how i should be preparing these foods.). They are in a tank with two plecos, so i'd like to be able to feed them the same stuff for practicality.

They live on pellets fine as well. Pending the size of your tank, your plecos may be short lived.

They are one of the real psychos of mbunas, especially males.

Feed NLS exclusively I have for years they will be fine with NLS as will the plecos. Plecos may have a rough time with these physcos when they get some size on them.
