just picked up a handsome 2 inch chipokae. i know they're suppose to be super aggressive but i'm giving it a shot in my tank. i'm hoping he keeps calm with the big daddy afra and sunshine present (they're my dominant males). we shall see!!! anyone else keep one of these guys?

Nope I keep mostly haps. Chipokaes are crazy aggressive and just not worth all the promblems they can cause to me. But if you like them go for it!

briefly kept 5 chipokae's in a 75 g w/5 yellow labs and 5 acei. was good for about a week. then alpha male chipokae claimed entire tank and relentlessly harassed rest of the occupants. killed another male and had half tank trying to hide by plumbing.

yeah i'm already noticing a difference in my fishs behavior with this new guy in it. everyone seems to be on the left hand side of the tank until they see me or get fed. however, i havent seen him take any aggressive action towards the other fish so it may be a coincidence. idk, i'll have to keep watching him. and now my female sunshine is holding again so i'm worried for her.
